What's happening: You see an option to save payment data in your profile under the heading ExpressPay and are wondering if we store your data, how we use it, and the security practices we use.
Answer: While you can save your payment data in your client profile, Ultius cannot access it directly and our payments vendor (Authorize.NET—owned by VISA) stores the data in their secure servers.
Authorize.NET stores your customer information and manages the data security for it. Ultius simply provides the encryption for the my.ultius.com domain, a secure tunnel (256 bit SSL encryption) for you to pass your data to Authorize.NET, and a secure payment page for you to use that payment method when processing a transaction.
Ultius employees, staff, and representatives cannot view or access your sensitive payment data (like card numbers, addresses, expiration dates, and billing information). Our payment environments are PCI compliant, and we use a wide variety of other security vendors as part of our total security approach and model.
Storing payment methods, making payments, and using the Ultius platform is safe, secure, convenient, and uses a wide-variety of industry leading security vendors.
