Why didn't my requested writer claim my order?

What's happening: You have placed an order with a requested writer, but a different writer has claimed your order and you would like to know why.

Answer: As freelancers, your requested writers are not required to claim an order. The Ultius system achieves a 90% acceptance rate, but occasionally a writer may decline a request. Some of the common reasons are:

• Their schedule did not allow them to confidently claim your order.
• They did not feel that they had the expertise to complete your order satisfactorily.
• They are taking time away from Ultius, but did not use the vacation mode setting.
